What If!
What if you bid good bye to a person, hoping to meet again in 2 years and it’s not the same person that returns!
Life doesn't always flow the same way.
And even she is in her own world. Full of live and vibrant colors. For her, life meant...... whoa! stop there. She never thought this way. So no need to get philosophical. To her, her friends and family meant everything, and there were no tensions, no stress and to put it as "IT", there were NO ISSUES.
But it wasn't always going to be the same....
Final year is always full of mixed emotions. On one hand there's joy of getting closer to graduation and on the other hand, the sense of losing the most proximate contact of friends and college life.
Probably everyone thought so, and hence the last inter-cultural fest was going to be special, very special for all. Let me assume that by this time you have already thought of a name for our heroine. Ok I am wrong.
Anyways, when she saw him, she could realize that it was after so many years that they had met. They were classmates, old school friends. Now she found him cute. Believe me, nothing can do wonders, as exchange of sudden and effortless smile can do. It added more to their festive moods and the conversation they had after that, ended when she nodded to attend his sister's birthday party at his house the very next day.... evening to be precise.
Girls very easily become friends with their friends' sisters. This is a different thing, but it happened in this case too and more importantly, this is how she got access to his home and home members for the first time.
In due course of time, she couldn't even notice when her childhood friendship grew into love. Just because we are telling the story with the girl's point of view, she could not live without him.... not sure what the boy thought and hence can't decide how much the mutual commitment existed.
A year passed and came the day when the boy flying abroad. He said career first and it was upto her to decide to move on or wait for him.
She decided to wait.
Two years passed. She was a working lady now. Mobile phones had become common and even she owned one.
But, it wasn't the same person that returned.
